LIfeguard training course
WANT TO BE A LIFEGUARD? Lifeguard classes & WSI class at the Tipton Aquatic Center Lifeguarding Class #1 February 5,6 & 13 Lifeguarding Class #2 February 26,27 & March 6 WSI Class March 12,13,26 & 27 The class takes 27 hours to complete. Class runs 8 AM to approximately 5:30 PM. You will be certified in: Lifeguarding, CPR for the PR, and Basic First Aid. WSI class allows candidate to be a swimming instructor Lifeguard candidates must be at least 15 years old on or near completion date of the course. WSI candidates must be at least 16 years old. Summer positions may be available at the DAC. Class completion does NOT ensure employment. Cost is $250 for Lifeguarding class and $200 for WSI.
