Bacon Buddies
Bacon Buddies is an Iowa Pork Producers Association supported program which partners 4-H and FFA members with a youth with an intellectual and/or developmental disability to teach them about exhibiting a pig. After teams meet and get to know each other, mentors will work with participants teaching them how to show their pig. The experience will conclude with teams working together to show the animal. Judging will take place in the Swine Building on Friday, July 19th from 5 – 6 pm. Teams will be assessed on how the mentor, participant and pig work together as a cohesive unit.
